GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Suggested Contents of the abstract:
An abstract is a concise statement of your research. The abstract should be structured in the following sections:

Background: Describe the reason(s) for your investigation and your hypothesis.
Methods: Describe the experimental methods used.
Results: Outline the essential results and supply sufficient quantitative data and statistical tests results. Statements like "to be completed" should be avoided.
Conclusion(s): End the abstract with conclusions that are supported by your results.

Format of the abstract (Click here for sample abstract):
Abstracts should be written in Microsoft Word, single spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman font. The abstract must not contain more than 400 words, including title, author's names, affiliation(s), and abstract text. Use single line spacing within the title and author section and within the abstract paragraph. Use double spacing between the title/address bar and the descriptive abstract content.

TITLE BAR: Use a concise title that indicates the content of your abstract. Capitalize the first letter of each title word except prepositions, articles and species' names. Italicize scientific names of organisms. For authors names use full first and last name and include initial(s). If the presenting author is not the first author the presenter’s name should be noted with an asterisk (*) following the name. Follow author names with affiliations of all authors in author order.

ABSTRACT TEXT: Do not include title or authors within the abstract text. A use acronym only after the full spelling of the term has been used followed by the acronym. Special characters may be included, if they are part of the standard letter and symbols of Microsoft WORD (Version Word 95 or later).
