The North American Society for Bat Research invites applications for membership from persons interested in the scientific study of bats including scientists, students, agency employees, consultants and persons involved in any aspect of bat research, conservation or education.
Annual membership is automatic for those who register and attend the most recent NASBR Symposium. The membership expires at the end of the year following the attended meeting. For example, if you attend the 2017 conference, you will be a member of the society until the 2018 conference. If you do not attend the 2018 conference, or sign up for online membership after that, your membership will lapse on December 31 of 2018.
Those who cannot attend a NASBR Symposium and wish to maintain their membership, or become new members, may do so by applying online for a nominal fee of $10. Membership is annual and expires at the end of each year regardless of when the membership was purchased.
As a member you will be included on the NASBR mailing list and get information about the society and its activities. Members will also have access to programs from past meetings and be able to contact other members via this website. Members can use these pages to keep their information current and choose whether to display their contact information to other members.
