This venue is just across the street from Colorado State University and a short, free bus ride from beautiful downtown Fort Collins. Fort Collins is situated along the Cache la Poudre River, a national heritage area, and in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Fort Collins is known for its lively cultural scene, including thriving craft breweries, bicycle friendly design, and easy access to a wealth of natural areas, from Rocky Mountain National Park to the Pawnee National Grasslands. The meeting will open with a Welcome Reception at Colorado State University’s new Canvas Stadium overlooking the main campus of Colorado State University. We have a range of events planned including a Spallanzani Fundraiser 5K run, student mixer, LGBTQ+ Community Social, Diversity Breakfast, Lunch with a Mentor, dessert banquet, and more! The meeting will begin on Thursday, October 15th with a keynote address from Dr. Nancy Simmons, Curator of Mammalogy at the American Museum of Natural History.
