 The Board of Directors serves as the governing board of NASBR and reviews and establishes policies and procedures for the society. The directors convene at the annual meeting of NASBR to conduct the business of the society, and between annual meetings, issues are discussed through zoom or e-mail. The board includes voting members, as well as non-voting members, such as the immediate Past President of the Society, Local Hosts of the annual meeting, Program Advisors, and Student Representatives — who advise the voting members. The voting members of the board consist of nine people who are elected by the membership at the annual meeting for a term of 5 years.
