NEW TOUR: Visit an iconic Bat Friendly distillery!

Date: Tuesday October 22nd

Time: 8am-7pm

Max Capacity: 20 participants

Your guides will be Rodrigo Medellin, Founder and Co-President of the Bat Friendly Tequila Program, and Carlos Camarena, Master tequila distiller and owner of Los Alambiques Distillery. You will be picked up at the hotel by a bus at 8:00 am for a 2 hour trip to Arandas, Jalisco. Rodrigo will do the trip with you. You will be greeted by Carlos who will guide you on a tour of agave fields where you will learn about agave biology, growth, cultivation, and harvest practices. Please bring a light snack as lunch will be served at 1:30 or 2 pm. You will then be taken to the distillery where you will learn about the cooking, crushing, fermentation, and distillation of tequila. You will taste a few select top quality tequila You will sit down for an unforgettable meal with a view of blue agave fields and absolutely amazing food. 

You will be taken back to the hotel by the same bus at around 7 pm.
